2nd International Congress on Access to Public Health Services

2nd International Congress on Access to Public Health Services

 19th-20th October 2023

Universidad de Almería

The 2nd International Congress on Accessibility to Public Health Systems, organised by Doctors of the World, will be held on 19 and 20 October 2023 in the Auditorium of the University of Almeria. This Congress is part of the ACCESIBLE project "Comprehensive project for the improvement of universal access to the health system", co-financed by the Ministry of Social Rights and Agenda 2030, through the call of the Secretary of State for Agenda 2030 and the call for activities of general interest considered of social interest for this year.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Inequities in access to healthcare are a hindrance to sustainable development and a challenge when addressing a large number of health problems. At Médicos del Mundo Spain we believe that inequities in access to healthcare require a stronger effort both at a national and international level for them to be completely removed. That is why, for its second year, we are holding an International Congress on Accessibility the 19th and 20th October, 2023, at the Universidad de Almería (Spain).

This event is organised as a space for interdisciplinary joint reflection for social and health workers, who play a key role on providing universal health coverage, to allow them to generate knowledge and research that will guide practice in order to achieve the right to health of everyone.

We are waiting for you!

You can find more information about the 1st Congress on Access to Public Health Services, held at the University of Valladolid, 6th and 7th October 2022, here.
